Seme (Seed)

Totem, shield, seed — rising into the air. Through some openings light passes; through others darkness remains.

Earth, life, the mysticism of an elusive answer — a “why” — yet all elements profoundly inseparable and indissoluble.

References to arabesque, floral and geometric motifs echo distant times and past fragrances, tinged with oriental notes.

A great totemic seed emerges from the earth for the first time, revealed in the full light of its immensity and abundance.

Szabó László Zoltán

Szabó László Zoltán, of Hungarian origin, completed his studies in Budapest and now lives and works in Vöröstó.

He developed an early passion for sculpture, particularly in wood, and has exhibited since 1985 in various Hungarian cities as well as in Argentina and Italy.

In 2001 he exhibited in Italy for the first time, in Terricciola and Pontedera (Pisa). In 2006 he participated in the sculpture symposia of Nimis and Verzegnis (Udine), distinguishing himself through a clear and refined style, attentive to detail, with lines that animate the entire surface of the work.
