The technique of bas-relief on hard stone, extensively used in classicism, is one of the most challenging tasks for a sculptor, especially when the subject tackled is the nude.
De Peuter's female body, executed without avoiding any difficulties, is a courageous challenge that honors the author. Many of the problems associated with the technique are brilliantly resolved, especially in the upper part and, above all, in the face exposed frontally.

Pazzi De Peuter
Pazzi De Peuter is of Belgian origin, born in Herentals, and graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp (Belgium).
Her first solo art exhibition in Antwerp dates back to 1992. Due to her significant expressive abilities, she has received numerous public and private commissions.She has experimented with various artistic techniques, highlighting a love for the essential simplicity of line.
