Vita natural durante (Lifetime)

A synthesis of the relationship between nature and humankind — a voracious builder and usurper of shared spaces — Silvia’s work demonstrates how nature ultimately prevails, placing us in a condition of fragility.

To secure our future, it is essential to restore a proper relationship with nature. Without it, we could not survive, whereas the opposite is not true. Her powerful and vigorous sculpture — much like the artist herself, despite her delicate and fragile appearance — perfectly conveys the message she set out to express.

The interplay between the finished and unfinished aspects of the sculpture echoes Michelangelo’s aesthetic, evoking deep admiration and giving profound meaning even to what remains unspoken.
