The tree of life

2014
17° Simposio Internazionale di Scultura su pietre del Friuli Venezia Giulia

Pietra Piasentina

Itinerari nel Rojale

Artwork

The sculptor's intention is twofold: to represent the vibrant life in Italy and evoke the idea of the continuous evolution of the world. In this case, the chosen symbols are the tree of life, with leaves moved by the wind, evoked by the natural part of the stone rich in luminous vibrations, and the spiral, which conveys the concept of endless development, ascendant growth, towards the spiritual dimension.

The work is distinguished by its overall balance, the harmonious blend of clean lines, polished surfaces, and more natural and pulsating elements.
